peter. i have friends at school. y et during projects i am the last one to get picked. i have moved from seat to seat all year at lunch. I have not been to anybody's house in three years. my dad some days feels bad and tells me things will get better then some days he gets mad and yells at me for not having anybody to do anything over the weekend. in a couple months i will be joining high school with my brother and I don't want him to have to invite me to his table with his friends.

So... I just wanted to ask you for advice. I've known this guy for almost 3 years. He's so nice, sweet, careful and polite, but he has been through a mental disorder which I'm not really sure he has passed yet. His mental disorder was mainly caused by his unsuccesful previous relationships, so I don't know what to do. He likes me and I like him, but not this kind of mad love when you know you have really fallen in love. What should I do?

You both like each other, so why not give it a shot? When I was younger, I often passed up opportunities that may have turned out great because I was too afraid to take risks. So, as I’m maturing, although it sounds cliche, I’m finding that life really is too short not to take risks. Plus, a meaningful relationship with a sweet girl (which I trust you are) may be just the thing that he needs to get beyond his past issues. Good luck. :)
